The Law Offices of Amy H. Michaels, P.A. Scholarship Essay Contest
The Law Offices of Amy H. Michaels, P.A., is offering a once-yearly $500.00 scholarship to students who are currently enrolled in or formally accepted to an accredited U.S. community college, college, or university undergraduate or graduate degree program. We believe in giving back to our community and this scholarship gives us an opportunity to do just that
Essay Topic
To participate in the contest, applicants should write a 500-word essay answering the following question:

What have you done over the past 5 + years demonstrating your commitment to be a volunteer and serve your community?
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must have a strong history of serving their community in a volunteer role. Students must be currently enrolled in or formally accepted to an accredited U.S. community college, college, or university undergraduate or graduate degree program
How to Apply for the Law Offices if Amy H, Michaels, P.A. Community Service Scholarship:
Your essay must be provided for consideration via the form below.
Copy and paste the essay or attach as either a .DOCX or .PDF.
Your subject line MUST start with Summer 2020 Scholarship, followed by your full name: last, first. (Example: “Summer 2020 Scholarship, Johnson, Jimmy”)

At the end of the essay, you MUST include the following:

How to Win
Entries will be reviewed by the firm and then be judged on the merit of entries. The deadline to apply for the Law Offices of Amy H. Michaels, P.A. Community Service Scholarship is June 15th, 2020. We will contact the winner via email and/or phone in July 2019. Non-winners will not be notified.
Ownership of Entries:
Upon submission, all entries submitted to The Law Offices of Amy H. Michaels, P.A., in connection with this contest, along with all copyright, trademark and other proprietary rights associated therewith, become the property of The Law Offices of Amy H. Michaels, P.A.

Entry materials will not be returned to any entrant. By submitting an entry, you acknowledge that if you win the scholarship contest, The Law Offices of Amy H. Michaels, P.A., will own all rights to publish and promote the submission.
Use of Name and Likeness
All entrants agree that they consent to the use of their name and area of residence, as well to the use of their likeness (as in a photograph) and prize information. We reserve the right to publish the winner’s name and likeness on our website, social media accounts, marketing materials, and press releases and, by submitting a scholarship application, you agree to this use of your information.
Statement of Non-Discrimination
The winner will be chosen based on their application alone.. Age, race, religion, gender, national origin, familial status, or other protected classes will have no bearing on the scholarship committee’s decision. All decisions are final.
Terms and Conditions

You may only submit one application and incomplete application packages will not be considered or retained. We regret that, for legal reasons, we are unable to accept calls, emails, or other communication regarding the scholarship, or answer any questions, other than those submitted here. The recipient is) responsible for any and all taxes and tax implications resulting from the application for and award of the Scholarship.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old by the time of scholarship award.

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or permanent resident.

Temporary U.S. residents, and international students, are not eligible.

Only one (1) application per person. Applicants who submit more than one application will not be considered.

The winner will be determined by a scholarship award committee. All decisions are final.
